Get started with HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101fdw for small businesses

This guide assumes an HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101fdw in a small office with an existing WiFi network.

Step 1: Prepare the printer

1. Unpack the printer and remove all protective tape.
2. Shake the toner cartridge gently and install it according to the instructions.
3. Pull out the paper tray and load it with A4 paper.
4. Turn on the printer and let it finish starting up.

Step 2: Connect to the network

The easiest route is via the HP Smart app:
