Tresorit
By Tresorit AG · tresorit.com
Swiss, Swiss Post-owned cloud storage with zero-knowledge encryption: not even Tresorit can read your files. Data is stored by default on Azure in Ireland with selectable EU regions, and a DPA is available. Expect from approx. 19 USD (ca 180 SEK) per user per month with annual billing (minimum three users, third-party figure 2026), and everything happens in English or German.
Best for: Companies sharing sensitive files externally who want encryption where the vendor itself cannot read the content.

Pros
- Zero-knowledge encryption: the vendor cannot read the files
- Swiss company majority-owned by Swiss Post, storage in the EU (Ireland) by default
- Selectable storage region within the EU on Business and Enterprise plans
- Encrypted sharing links with passwords, expiry dates and access logs
- ISO 27001:2022 certified, DPA available directly
Cons
- The price is the most common complaint in independent reviews
- No interface or support in Swedish, only English and German
- Some metadata is unencrypted: folder names, sizes and member lists
- Sync problems with large files recur in user criticism
- Runs on American Microsoft Azure, admittedly with encryption as protection
